U3 to U9 soccer cancelled for June 14th 2022

Hi everyone,

Soccer is cancelled for tonight, Tuesday June 14th 2022.  The rain is steady but fairly light here at the North Shore and I was looking forward to our first night!  However the fields are getting close to being too soggy and the forecast is for it to feel like 9C by 6pm.  After discussing with some of our volunteers I also was reminded that we're handing out shirts and taking paper registrations and cash payments tonight.  None of those go very well in the rain.

We'll therefore push opening night to Thursday, June 16th 2022, and add an extra day at the end of the season in August.

I hope everyone's excited, I'm keen to see all the new and returning players on Thursday!
